Hamilton Catholic school board plans to expand French Immersion program

Hamilton’s Catholic school board plans to expand its French immersion program for the first time in 25 years.

The change, which would see an increase to five from three elementary schools offering French immersion, is expected to take effect in September.

Parents’ interest in the program has been increasing for “quite some time,” Catholic board chair Pat Daly said Friday.
